MetroFuture is a bold and achievable plan to make a "Greater Boston Region" - to better the lives of the people who live and work in Metropolitan Boston between now and 2030. Built with the extensive participation of thousands of "plan builders," it includes detailed goals for development and preservation, and specific strategies for the region to achieve its goals.

MetroFuture Walking Tour: Environmental Sustainability Along Boston Harbor
On July 29, we walked along the Fort Point Channel and South Boston's waterfront with Vivien Li of The Boston Harbor Association to look at environmental sustainability. We toured the LEED Gold Children's Museum and the Atlantic Wharf project, and visited other sites along the waterfront including the Moakley Courthouse, the Institute for Contemporary Art, and Fish Pier. A special thanks to our tour guides for a wonderful afternoon. For our tour schedule, click here. To become a Friend of MetroFuture and hear about all of the latest MetroFuture news, click here. |
